How do you mess up a room with no toys?

I just don't get it for months it has been a struggle to get the boys to clean there room so last month we bought safety locks for there folding closet doors so they can't get any toys out without asking.  They do however have a bin under there bed with cars and a tool bench with a bunch of tools.

For three days now we have been telling them to clean there room and it still isn't clean.  It literally would take me 5 minutes to clean it up because it is mostly blankets and pillows off there beds, but how else to you teach a 5 and 3 year old responsibility?

Finally home

We made it home last night, after a short stop in Ormond Beach to meet my newest nephew, Landon.  He was born yesterday morning weighing 7lbs 1oz and 20.25 inches long.  He looks just like his older brother Jonathon.
Our Disney trip was great except for one day of bad weather.  Instead of going to the park as planned, that day we stayed at the hotel and the boys went swimming in the indoor pool.  That night Britney and Declan came over from Melbourne for a visit, her ride was a lot longer than expected.  Sorry again Britney.  We had a good time talking and the boys had a great time playing together.  We will have to make a trip to TN sometime soon.
Braxton, 4 months, and Declan, 11 months

The first day we were in Orlando we went to Animal Kingdom.  Nathan rode on his first real roller coaster, Everest.  The look on his face was priceless, he was very scared but not enough not to do it again.  Matt took Liam and Nathan on the water rapid ride and they got soaked, Liam hated walking around in wet clothes.  I hate getting wet and walking in wet clothes, that is why I volunteered Matt to go with them.  For lunch we went to the Rainforest Cafe which the boys enjoyed.

Our second day we went to Holloywood Studios.  There Nathan went on Tower of Terror, though it wasn't his first time he had previously went on it when we went back in 2009.  The scariest part of that ride for him is the ghosts, lately he has been so obsessed with them.  Matt and I went on the Rock'in Roller Coaster but Nathan was too short for that.  I don't know what is up with that ride but both times I went on it took my breath away.  I think I was so shocked by the speed I forgot to breathe.  Liam loved seeing Woody and Buzz and we all enjoyed the new 3D Toy Story ride even though Matt blew us away with a scored of 165,000.  It must of been because I was holding Braxton the whole ride.

Our fourth day was spend at Epcot, we didn't stay long because rain was forcasted for the afternoon so we skipped all of the World Showcase and just did the rides up front.  Nathan, Matt, and I rode Test Track, Mission Space, and Soaring.  While waiting for Matt and Nathan to ride Soaring I took Liam on a boat ride and to the Lion King Show.  He got really scared on the boat ride because they had fake alligators in the water which he thought were real.  We tried to get pictures of us and the boys obviously that that didn't work out too well.
So our vacation is over and it is back to reality.  The worst part of vacations is coming home having to unpack all the bags and do a ton of laundry.

Sunshine

For Nathan's 3rd birthday he picked out a fantail goldfish from Wal-mart that he named Sunshine.  He loves the fish but I have become the main caretaker for the fish.

So tonight I went to put in one of those vacation fish food tablets in his tank and he isn't looking very good.  I am dreading coming home from vacation to find Sunshine floating in his tank.  How do I explain to a 5 and 3 year old that there fish is dead?  Guess I could do what my father did and just replace it with a new Sunshine.

Spring Break

Last day of school before a week of vacation.  Tomorrow we are off to Orlando for 4 days at Disney World, the boys don't even know yet.  We plan on telling them in the morning on our drive down, I think we will wait until we are almost there so we don't have to here "Are we there yet" a million times.  I still have a little packing left to do and then we will pack up the car tonight after the boys go to bed.

Braxton had his 4 month well visit this morning.  He is growing like a weed with his weight at 14lbs 15oz and height at 25.75 inches.  We had a little screw up with his vaccines, he only received one at first which I thought was weird (it actually was the one that he didn't get last time because of the snow storms up north had the deliveries backed up).  After leaving the office I decided to call and make sure that he was only supposed to get one.  Well I was right so we had to go back to the office to receive the other 3.  Braxton wasn't too happy to get another two shots, I felt bad that he had to go through it all over again.

Dr. Soha said still no solids, wait until he is closer to 16 lbs.  She said I will know when he starts waking up at night again, not looking forward to that since I have been getting decent sleep lately with Braxton sleeping around 12 hours every night.

Here is the latest picture of Braxton that I took yesterday at 4 months.

Fours months ago at this time I was laying on the operating table at Baptist Hospital for my 3rd c-section.  For the first time we hadn't found out the sex of our baby before delivery and when Dr. Caccam told us at 10:02 that we had another boy, I was shocked and happy at the same time.  What are the chances of another boy?  I guess pretty good for us.  Braxton Luke weighed 7lbs 10oz and was 21 inches long.  Now he is over 13 lbs, not sure of the exact weight because he doesn't go for his 4 month well visit until tomorrow.

The last 4 months have been wonderful and bitter sweet at the same time.  He is our last child so I am trying to soak in all those moments I will never again experience.  I am getting teary-eyed just thinking about it.  Is this how all mothers feel when they are done having babies?  Or am I just overly emotional?  To me it feels like a whole chapter in my life is over and another is beginning.  I don't even want to think about how I will feel 18 years from now when all my boys are graduated from high school.

Blogging

Over the last couple of months I have been following a couple different mothers blogs dealing with unimaginable situations since the births of their daughters late last year. Both of these families have really opened my eyes and made me appreciate the life God has given to me a little more. I love my family with all my heart and don't know what I would do without them.
So I have decided to start this blog and write about my daily life as a mother and wife. Life can get busy at times and I hope that this blog will be a way that our family and friends will be able to keep up with the Glass family.
