Back in the Workforce
Well I officially started back to work. I know I have been working for the last 7 years but now I am actually going to get paid to work. I am actually enjoying my job, through it is only a contract position through the end of the year. I am just struggling with the situation on why I needed to get a job when I did. I so would of loved to wait until next August when Braxton started VPK and found a part time job where I am able to pick the boys up at school and them not have to be in extended ed during the mornings and afternoons. Even though I struggle with that I am thankful that all 3 boys have adjusted okay with the transition. They have their moments but other all they are doing great with the additional change in their life.

Interview
Well my new normal life today included my first interview in 11 years. It actually went pretty good and I am praying I get it. It is at my kids school, so even though it is full time if anything comes up I will be right there by them. I know there lives will change yet again, but this is just part of our new normal.
I have been doing really well these last two weeks. I am have so many people in Jacksonville to support me through everything. Matt and I have really been having a good time together and at the same time growing as individuals. I really enjoy our current relationship and as much as I love him and want to come home, right now I am at peace with everything.
The boys are adjusting to school and really enjoy it. Liam likes the freedom that the elementary offers, compared to kindergarten. If I do get a job Braxton will start at Trinity, which I know he will love too. I think he misses going to school, but with my life uncertain with being a stay at home mom, I didn't want to start him off in the 2 day a week program and have to pull him out.
Continue to pray for my family and that God continues to open doors for us. He is really working in my life and it is amazing to see on a daily basis.

When life throws you a curve ball
Never in a million years would I think I would be walking in the shoes I am walking but here I am. A month ago Friday the boys and I moved out of the rental and into out new house without Matt. It sucks no one should have to ever go through this but this is the deck of cards I have been dealt and all I can do is turn to God and pray for a miracle. Pray that God restores my marriage and has a great plan for my family. Trust in God is trust in His timing so for now I sit and wait for God to work. It isn't easy but I know that I am doing exactly what God wants me to do. Please pray with me for a miracle in my marriage, strength for me, and protection of my boys.

TN Trip
Well second summer trip down, we had a nice relaxing time in TN with family. It is just nice to have no plans for the day and just do what we wanted to do. We spent one day out on the lake, where we did tubing and cliff jumping. Have to say that cliff jumping was the scariest thing I have ever done and I have a huge bruise on my leg to show for it. I was so impressed with both Nathan and Liam for doing it without a second thought and Matt for doing it 3 times. Once was enough for a lifetime for me. The rest of the week we hung out at the pool, did some shopping, boys night out to the movies and girls night out to downtown Nashville, and Matt and I had a date night with a movie and dinner. It was really fun.
Now back to reality and getting moved by the end of the month. Electricity safety inspection finally passed and electricity should be turned on today or tomorrow. Once that is done we can see if things actually work, please pray everything does. Once the electric is on and water is working we have duct work, sheet rock work, painting, carpet and cleaning. Then we are free to move in, trying to get all the work done before the last week of the month so we will have a week to move all our stuff in and get settled. I am so excited about this move and change in our lives.
The boys swim league is coming to a close for the summer. Their last swim meet is Thursday and then championships are the 24-27 of July. I really think they both will do good in their age group for the year.

First Summer Trip
Nathan and I just got back from NYC, spent 4 days in the city staying at one of my college roommates apartment on the upper west side. It was a great trip but doing all we did in those 4 days, we both were exhausted by the time we got home. After our flight was cancelled out of Jacksonville, Matt drove us to Orlando to catch a flight out. If it wasn't for him we would of missed the trip all together.
I was able to get Nathan and I from Laguardia to Manhattan but taking the bus and subway. I was so nervous about it but actually it wasn't too bad, I was able to get help from an older man on the bus. We traveled all over Manhattan by subway, going to the ground zero memorial, NYSE, Battery Park, Staue of Liberty/Ellis Island, FAO Swarz, Times Square, Little Italy, Central Park, Museum of Natural History, and Penn Station to catch the train to Long Island to have dinner with my grandparents. Like I said it was a very active trip for the two of us but we loved it every minute of it.
Yesterday Matt and I closed on our new place. We hadn't said anything about it to anyone because we weren't sure if it would really happen. It is a HUD property, 1.67 acres with some great oak trees and a older double wide mobile home with an addition. We were able to pay for it with cash and if we are happy living in that area after a few years we will probably build a house on it. Otherwise we will use it as a rental and buy another property. We really just wanted to get some land and away from a neighborhood. It needs some work but once we get it all done I think it will be a great place for us. I can't wait for Matt to build me a chicken coop and get some chickens, but I know there are other more important things that need to be done first.

Summer Vacation
Summer vacation has officially began and of course now sleeping in for me. The boys woke me up at 7 this morning. It isn't like we usually sleep in during the summer anyways since swim practice will start on Monday at 8. Planning on riding our bikes up to Panera this morning for bagels then maybe the library and the pool.
Braxton is officially swimming. We went to the YMCA yesterday and I worked with him again, he was able to swim from the side of the pool to the flags. He and I were both so excited. By the end of the summer he will probably be joining the swim team with the boys.
Our lease is up July 31st and Matt has decided not to post for that position at this time. It just isn't the right timing for us. I have been looking for places for about a week and came across a place that meets my criteria of over 1 acre. We put in a verbal offer last Monday and on Tuesday it was accepted. Our written offer was finally accepted last night. Please pray that inspection comes back clear, it is a HUD property so it is sold as-is. If anything major shows up on the inspection we will probably walk away. I am really in love with the location and the lot of the place. It has a few hug oak trees in the front yard which I love. I am also so excited about the possibility of getting chickens, don't know why but I have wanted them for a long time.

Liam's Graduation
Liam's graduation went wonderful. He was really excited about the entire thing. Each class had their own performance and then afterwards all the kids received their diplomas. He really sang his heart out, he loves to sing. If only he didn't sound like me when he did. Afterwards we took him out for ice cream at Bruster's. It really was a great evening.
I can't believe he is going to first grade next year. He has grown up so fast, he has such a tender heart and loves to please others. He puts a smile on my face every day.
